Since its inception, the vision was to emerge from the Sri Lankan market and venture into international waters where the strong demand for Sri Lankan authentic cinnamon was no secret. Working around the clock with so much passion for the company, the Abeyrathne family was able to break through into the export market, gaining access to Mexico, Peru, USA and the Latin Americas. This achievement brought the company closer to its vision of operating as a primary exporting company, taking the indigenous Sri Lankan Pure Cinnamon to international platforms.
In 2018, the first warehouse and operational office were established in Houston, USA, where operations are underway in the aim of becoming the primary spice supplier to the American market.
The company was also quick to adopt new technology of the 21st Century and move away from traditional, time-consuming, methods of processing, which also carried a high risk of contamination.
